Warehouse Operations Manager

Job Description:

• Responsible for managing ambient warehousing operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and movement of goods with strong focus on accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Oversee fruits and vegetables warehousing operations with responsibility for maintaining product freshness, reducing wastage, and ensuring proper storage conditions.
• Manage national distribution operations to ensure timely, cost-effective, and smooth delivery of goods across multiple cities and regions.
• Handle multi-city cold storage operations and 3PL management, ensuring temperature compliance, vendor coordination, and service level adherence.
• Lead inventory control and cost optimization initiatives to maintain accurate stock levels, reduce shrinkage, and improve overall supply chain efficiency.
• Provide strong operational leadership by managing cross-functional teams, driving performance, and ensuring smooth execution of day-to-day supply chain activities.

Required Skills:

• 7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Warehouse Operations with proven exposure to multi-site or multi-city operations.
• Strong experience in FMCG, retail, e-commerce, or fresh supply chain environments preferred.
• End-to-end expertise in warehousing and inventory management with focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Skilled in distribution and transport planning to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
• Strong knowledge of cold chain and fresh supply chain management with focus on quality and wastage control.
• Hands-on experience in vendor and 3PL management including performance monitoring and coordination.
• Proficient in ERP/WMS systems along with advanced Excel and reporting capabilities.
• Strong understanding of KPI tracking, cost management, and operational performance improvement.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities with experience handling large operational teams.
• Demonstrated execution excellence with strong operational control and end-to-end supply chain ownership.
