Job Description:

  • Manage overall category performance including sales, margins, growth, and availability.
  • Drive assortment planning and optimize SKU mix based on customer demand and profitability.
  • Monitor category KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with suppliers on commercials, pricing, promotions, and business planning.
  • Lead vendor discussions and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Negotiate and align on commercial terms to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate closely with Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Marketing, Growth, and Operations teams.
  • Align on inventory planning, campaign execution, product launches, and stock availability.
  • Support execution of in-app visibility and promotional activities for strategic SKUs.
  • Analyse category trends, customer demand, pricing movements, and competitive landscape.
  • Use data-driven insights to improve assortment, margins, and overall category performance.
  • Identify operational or commercial gaps proactively and drive resolutions.

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in Commercial, Category Management, Buying, or related functions.
  • Strong understanding of retail, FMCG, q-commerce, or e-commerce business dynamics.
  • Comfortable working with numbers, margins, and commercial analysis.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and analytical thinking preferred.
